10 Undeniable Habits That No Portlander Can Ever Unlearn
When you grow up in Portland (or at least spend a few decades here), certain things just become part of you. While this isn’t a bad thing, sometimes these habits can be hard to shake, even when we leave the City of Roses. Do any of these Portland habits sound familiar to you?
You never know when you will need it.
Ours is the best.
Why fuss with an umbrella when you can just put on your hood? Besides the wind will instantly break your umbrella 9 out of 10 times.
We know it will never be hot on a trip to the Oregon coast.
Even when we travel out of state it can be difficult to remember that no one will come help you if you just wait.
We have so much great food that it is hard not to swoon over your favorite food cart, restaurant, and chef.
Nature is always calling us to come outside and enjoy the amazing world around us.
We have been voted some of the most polite drivers in the country by various polls, and if you don't believe it, head over to a four-way stop and see how things pan out.
We love casual, and no one is getting us to dress up for anything.
We are an adventurous group and always ready to get out there and have an adventure.
