7 Holiday Markets In Portland Where You’ll Find Incredible Stuff
While some of the biggest markets have already taken place, it is still not too late to hit these holiday markets this shopping season. Instead of heading to the mall, consider shopping at one of these amazing craft and artisan markets that feature a wide range of products for gift-giving for everyone special in your life.
1. Portland Saturday Market
Regularly running on Saturdays and Sundays, the festival ups its coverage right before the holidays. Head down to the Waterfront for the Festival of the Last Minute running from December 17 through 24 from 11 am to 5 pm.
2. Portland Artisan Festival
Taking place at Pioneer Square, this festival runs from December 6 through 9 and features local artisans and crafters. The hours are 11 am to 6 pm Tuesday through Thursday and 11 am through 7:30 pm on Friday.
3. Crafty Wonderland
Head over to the Oregon Convention Center for this craft-focused bazaar December 10 and 11 from 11 am to 6 pm. The event is free to the public, but to shop without the crowds, you can buy a pre-sale pass to get in early.
4. East Portland Holiday Bazaar
This local market features hand-crafted wares from over 100 artisans. It is held at the Jade/APANO Multicultural Space (JAMS) on 8114 SE Division Street on December 10 from 10 am to 5 pm.
This holiday gift fair takes place on December 10 from 10 am to 7 pm at ADX Portland on 417 SE 11th Avenue.
6. PDX Pop Up Shops
Transforming vacant shops into one-off shopping events, this group hosts designers and artists alike. The next event is December 15 at 6 pm at 606 SW 9th Avenue.
7. Give Good Gift
Another pop-up shop, this holiday event is taking place December 11 from 10 am to 6 pm at 525 SE Pine Street.
