Started as the Aurora Colony in the late 1850s, this small town just south of Portland was formed as a utopian communal Christian settlement focused on a sustainable and community-oriented life. Over 150 years later, the small town, which was Oregon’s first national historic district, is a thriving center for finding the perfect treasures from the past.

Eventually totaling over 18,000 acres, the Aurora Colony developed a New England-looking village that still stands today.
