There are so many great places to eat in Portland that narrowing down the options can be an enormous task in itself. Here are 10 places that if you haven’t tried yet, you need to go this year. Put them on your list and make 2017 the year to explore these great restaurants throughout the city.

Dumplings and Chinese food are the talk of PSU at this new downtown restaurant near its campus. The Duck House is located at 1968 SW 5th Avenue.


Korean snacks and innovative cocktails abound at this new restaurant that also does noodles right. Revelry is located at 210 SE MLK Blvd.


Pizza and tacos are served up in force at this neighborhood bar with a nice mix of meat and vegan options. Associated is located at 2131 SE 11th Avenue.

This onigiri-focused restaurant features a wide variety of Japanese and Hawaiian versions of these rice ball hand foods. Focusing on takeout, this is the perfect place to pick up some quick and portable fuel for a fun day out. Musubi is located at 2134 SE Division Street.

Middle Eastern flavors and vegetables combine for an amazing treat for your taste buds at this bustling restaurant. Located at 2448 E Burnside, the restaurant has a solid rush during peak dining hours, so plan ahead to avoid the wait.
