This Just Might Be The Most Beautiful Hike In All Of Oregon
Deeming any hike one of the most beautiful in Oregon isn’t a simple task. The Beaver State is chock-full of spectacular trails, so the bar is inevitably set very high. However, the 5-mile Mulnomah-Wahkeena Loop Hike is something special. This gorgeous trail winds through the spectacular Columbia River Gorge, passing eight jaw-dropping waterfalls (and countless other beautiful sights) along the way.

How's that for a trailhead? Alternatively, you can also start at the Wahkeena Falls Trailhead.

Leaving the Multnomah Falls Trailhead, take the Return Trail #442 to the Wahkeena Trail #420. This beautiful trail will lead you to a stunning overlook before heading through the lush Wahkeena Canyon.

You'll continue on the Wahkeena Trail, which eventually merges with the Larch Mountain Trail. The next major waterfall you'll pass is the gorgeous Ecola Falls.

Take some time to experience the iconic waterfall from above at this stunning observation deck. When you're ready, stroll down the base of the falls, and tah-dah! You're back where you started.
