You’ll Absolutely Love A Ride On Oregon’s Majestic Mountain Train This Summer

Ever dreamt of riding a vintage train through the amazing Oregon countryside? This summer, take an unforgettable ride on the wondrous Mt Hood Railroad. Winding through the breathtaking foothills of Mt Hood, this incredible train excursion is downright magical.

Based in Hood River, the Mt Hood Railroad has been around for more than 100 years. Nowadays, this gorgeous passenger train offers train rides through the most breathtaking scenery.

If you like trains, you're sure to fall in love with this unique excursion.

During the summertime, the railroad offers an amazing 4-hour round-trip excursion to Parkdale that starts and ends in Hood River. The train meanders through the beautiful Mt Hood foothills, passing orchards, forests, mountain views, and more.

The train stops at a lovely park in Parkdale, where you can opt in for a delicious picnic lunch provided by Apple Valley BBQ.

The Parkdale excursions take place on Fridays and Sundays from June 2-October 29, and Thursdays from July 6-August 31.

The railroad also offers unique Western Train Robbery excursions that'll transport you back in time to the ol' wild west. These trips take place every Saturday from 11am-3pm, April 29-October 28.
