Jacksonville is a small town just west of Medford. With a population of just under 3,000 people, it's the kind of place where neighbors look out for each other and guests are always welcome.
As the holiday season approaches, the town starts dressing up with boughs of evergreen, wreaths, and bright, red bows. Jacksonville celebrates its rich history with a Victorian Christmas every year.
The season kicks off with community caroling and tree lighting on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 5 p.m. Many of the carolers are dressed in period costume, befitting for the town's Victorian Christmas theme.
Take a ride on the Holly Jolly Trolley for just $1. It makes a short loop around town, and lets you hop on and off to patronize businesses and restaurants.
