The hike to Hanging Rock is absolutely unforgettable. Located in southwestern Oregon, this incredible four-mile hike leads to a stunning lookout point that will make you feel like you’re on top of the world.
This incredible hike is two miles each way (with an elevation gain that'll get your thighs working).
To get to Hanging Rock, you'll walk along the Panther Ridge Trail for about one and a half miles until you come across a junction for Hanging Rock Trail #1113. Take a left here, and after about half a mile, you'll reach the astounding Hanging Rock.
If you can muster up the courage to look over the edge, you'll see the winding Rogue River 3600 feet below you. You'll also see the expansive Wild Rogue Wilderness and Eden Valley.
