Located in the Mt Jefferson National Wilderness, the stunning Triangulation Peak + Boca Cave hike is simply spectacular. Rated as moderate, this 5-mile hike leads through a lush alpine forest before opening up to incredible mountaintop views that will drop your jaw to the floor.

The Triangulation Peak + Boca Cave Hike is best done during the summertime. To get to the trailhead, take HWY 22 to Forest Road 2233 (AKA McCoy Creek road) and take a left. After about 8 miles, you’ll reach the junction of three roads; turn sharp right and continue on just over a mile and a quarter, until you reach the well-marked trailhead on the right.
