Unlike many of the towns on the Oregon Coast, Garibaldi is a quiet little fishing village. With a population of just 801 and a picturesque location, this is the place to go if you’re looking to get away from it all. The next time you find yourself in town, check out Pier’s End. Oregon’s longest pier is a great spot to fish, bird watch, and soak in breathtaking ocean views. Take a look:

The pier is open to the public and is a lovely spot to stroll.

It's a common spot for locals and visitors to go crabbing and fishing for sturgeon, salmon, and other bottom fish.

There is also a small stairway that leads from the pier down to publically accessible clam beds below.
Near the end of the pier stands a historic building that once served as a boathouse for the Coast Guard.
