The Tiny Restaurant In Oregon That Serves Mexican Food To Die For
If you’re craving Mexican food, there’s nothing like a trio of tasty tacos to satisfy your taste buds. We’re lucky to have locally-owned, authentic taco shops all around the state, but there’s one little Mexican restaurant that you’ll want to check out for some of the most flavorful tacos around.
El Sancho Taco Shop got its start with a tiny taco truck back in 2010. The tacos were a huge hit, and the little business added on...
...the Taco Shack, a little dive made of recycled materials located in the Pak-It Liquidators lot. When Pak-It closed, the Taco Shack was moved to Crux Brewery, where you'll still find it today.
An actual taco shop was soon added, and now there are three places to get your taco fix in Bend.
You'll find the Taco Shack at Crux Fermentation Project, 50 SW Division St., Bend, OR 97702. The Taco Shop is located at 335 NE Dekalb Ave., Bend, OR 97701. The Taco Truck moves around to different locations around Bend.
The tiny taco shop is colorful and bright, both outside and in. The menu is pretty basic here, but it's got everything your taco-loving heart desires.
With 11 different taco fillings, you're certain to find several you love. Choose from pork carnitas, beef barbacoa, mushroom, lengua, chipotle chicken, oaxacan, chorizo, carne asada, potato and poblano, grilled fish, and fried shrimp.
No matter what kind of tacos you get, or which location you get them, you'll find fresh, quality ingredients tucked inside.
Pair your tacos with a pile of fresh chips and guacamole and a margarita.
On a chilly day, you might want to add a bowl of Carmen's famous tortilla soup to your order. This stuff is downright addictive.
You'll also want a side order of esquites - Mexican street corn. Yum!
In addition to tacos, you'll find lots of other tasty Mexican food on the menu, like chilaquiles, tamales, tostadas, gorditas, and more.
Visit the Taco Shop seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. The Taco Shack is open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m, and Friday through Sunday noon - 9 p.m.
Make sure to check out
