You'll find East Lake Resort on the east side of the Newberry Caldera, near La Pine. The resort's address is 22430 Paulina Lake Rd., La Pine, OR 97739.
The resort is nestled right on the lake, and it's the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Leave your cell phone and laptop home, and just enjoy the beauty of nature while you're here. There's plenty to keep you occupied!
An afternoon of fishing on the lake is likely to result in some pretty impressive catches. In addition to rainbow trout and kokanee, you'll find tons of good-sized browns.
Take a boat out on the lake to explore or fish. The resort rents fishing boats, pontoon boats, and personal watercraft like kayaks and paddle boards. You can rent your boat for a half or full day, depending on your needs.
After a full day of playing on the lake, retire to one of these knotty-pine cabins. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay, but you won't find any televisions or phones inside - they're perfect for unplugging.
If you prefer something a little more rustic, pitch your tent right next to the lake. The resort has six tent sites available, and they're just $25 per night. You'll also find 40 RV sites offering electric sites with 30 or 50 amps.
