Darlingtonia Wayside Is A Boardwalk Trail In Oregon That Leads To A Secret Botanical Garden
Here in Oregon, we’re blessed with an abundance of beautiful scenery. And there are few better ways to appreciate our state’s outdoors than embarking on a trail. While some trails will lead you over rivers and up mountains, today’s is a bit more peaceful. The Darlingtonia State Natural Site is a botanical preserve just a few miles north of Florence that offers visitors the chance to reconnect with nature. So if you’re curious to learn more about rare plant life while also enjoying a healthy dose of fresh air and scenery, this is the trail for you.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Have you visited the Darlingtonia State Natural Site before? If so, we’d love to hear all about your experiences there. For more information, you can visit the official website.
