Located in the Umpqua National Forest, Clearwater Falls is a small but spectacular spring-fed waterfall that cascades through an emerald green landscape.
This 30-foot waterfall flows majestically over mossy green rocks and large fallen logs, gently weaving through the greenery before pouring into a calm blue pool.
Upstream, water bubbles out of a natural spring in the ground and flows onward to form Clearwater River. The constant flow of crystal clear water assures that Clearwater Falls flows year-round.
Encountering this lovely little waterfall is a magical experience. To get there, park at the Clearwater Falls parking lot off Highway 138 and take a short, leisurely stroll through the old growth forest along on Clearwater River.
