If you’re feeling artsy, you’ll want to head to Grant’s Pass. Located in southwestern Oregon, it’s one of the most underrated artsy towns in the Beaver State.
Grant's Pass is one of Oregon's most beautiful towns. With a population of approximately 38,000 people, it's big enough to have plenty of amenities but small enough to still have that hometown feel.
People flock from all over the state to visit this town for its gorgeous outdoor setting. Nestled on the banks of the Rogue River, the town offers tons of fishing, kayaking, hiking, and exploring.
Evergreen Federal Bank started the trend back in 2003 when it commissioned some local artists to create 20 bears to auction off for charity. Throughout the years, more than 180 bears have graced the streets around Grant's Pass. Some have been auctioned for charity, and the bank has kept others for the enjoyment of residents and visitors.
During the winter months, the bears are brought indoors to the Bear Hotel — a museum of sorts that's open to the public. The large building is beautifully decorated to celebrate Grant's Pass's outdoor beauty.

Glass-blowing artists here create stunning masterpieces of all kinds. From vases to Christmas tree ornaments, you're sure to find something you'll want to take home.
Artists create the most incredible chalk art, and small squares are even available for kids to create their own masterpiece. The festival also includes plenty of live music.
