What are some hidden gems in Oklahoma?
Have you ever noticed that some of Oklahoma’s best spots are those off-the-beaten-path kind of places that only locals know about? Our state is indeed full of hidden gems. Lendonwood Gardens is a true hidden treasure — this eight-acre garden in the town of Grove will delight you with its gazebo, bridges, shaded pathways and over 1,200 plants. It also offers one of the largest rhododendron collections in the southwest. It’s a real-life secret garden, and it’s incredible.
Does Oklahoma have any unique restaurants?
From repurposed shipping containers to food truck parks, there are so many totally unique dining options in Oklahoma that will give you an unforgettable experience. A cool, hidden gem in Tulsa is The Spudder. This casual restaurant pays homage to Tulsa’s rich oil history by decorating the walls of the dining room with oil memorabilia. It’s a good, old-fashioned steakhouse where everything is homemade. This unique restaurant is known for “The Gusher” – a mouthwatering 22-ounce bone-in rib eye steak. It’s named “The Gusher” because eating it is like striking oil!

One of our very favorite places to stay is Keystone State Park. This beautiful park offers 22 cozy cabins complete with full amenities including satellite television and fireplaces. Cabin sizes vary from one bedrooms to multiple bedrooms — and some are even pet friendly, so even Fido can be cozy.
