There Hasn’t Been A Single Tornado In Oklahoma Yet This Year And It’s Breaking Records
Good news, Oklahomans! The Sooner State is experiencing a tornado drought and for the first time in history, we’ve had zero tornadoes this far into the year.
As a state that is normally setting records for massive tornadoes, it's nice to be on the other side of the coin for once. On April 26, 2018, Oklahoma broke a record for going the entire year so far without a tornado.
Needless to say, we are off to a good start in 2018. As a state with some of the highest tornado odds per square mile, we'll gladly take our tornado drought with a smile.
