I don’t know about you, but it’s hard to beat a mouthwatering brisket. Texlahoma BBQ serves brisket so good, you’ll come back time and time again because the sauce is like no other. It’s a bit out of the way, but when we say it’s worth the extra drive — it’s worth the extra drive. Check it out below:

Texlahoma opened in 2015 in the middle of a strip mall in far north Edmond. There's not much to it on the outside but don't let that fool you.

Step inside and you'll rarely see the place empty. In fact, if you visit during the lunch hour, you'll most likely encounter a pretty big crowd.

The meat is not dry — it's very juicy and full of all that yummy fat.

The brisket is good. Like really, really good. It's best served sliced and is priced at around $19 per pound.

You can also order pork and jalapeno beef sausage that is just as good — if not better — than the brisket.

Have you ever seen a sandwich this big? I think I'm in heaven with all this meat.

And if you're wanting to catch a game, the big screen usually has some football paying. The place is comfortable — nothing fancy but quite adequate for indulging in BBQ.
