There are so many delicious bbq restaurants in Oklahoma, sometimes it’s hard to know if it’s worth the time to give a newly found one a visit. But when you discover one that claims “Best BBQ in Oklahoma” it’s worth a shot to see if their bbq really holds up to some of our other award-winning barbecue in the state. Texlahoma Barbecue in Edmond boasts some pretty big accolades and after trying the bbq here, I can truly say you need to put it on your dining bucket list and take a foodie road trip and try it for yourself – I think you’ll be surprised just how good it really is.

Texlahoma Barbecue is located in a strip center on East Waterloo Road in north Edmond. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere but so worth the extra drive.

Even though it's on the outskirts of town, it brings in a pretty big crowd...even during the week. Word is spreading about this place and people are willing to travel the extra distance to get their hands on this amazing bbq.

First, you probably won't need any sauce because the meat is just that good - but I personally like the flavor of the sauce and if you do too, it's really out of this world good. They have several spice levels and if you like it extra hot, choose the OMG option.

The meat is so juicy and flavorful that you could literally just eat it like this and be happy. The brisket and pulled pork is a must-try and I think you'll be blown away by both.
