Clear your weekend schedule, because there’s a beloved festival taking place that you’re going to want to attend. The Stilwell Strawberry Festival has been held annually since the 1940s and has helped the small town of Stilwell become known as “Strawberry Capital of the World.” On top of loads of fun and live entertainment, there’s free strawberries and ice cream at the event. The 2019 Stilwell Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday, May 11 in Downtown Stilwell. Every year, this beloved hometown festival draws in more than 30,000 visitors.

The festival began to bring awareness to strawberries grown in the area, but now offers so much more than just strawberries.

For starters, there are lots of carnival booths with games.

And a parade featuring huge floats, a marching band, animals, and more.

Everyone loves to line the streets and watch the newly crowned "Strawberry Queen" glide past them on a float.

There is family fun for all ages, including rides, games, trampolines, and more.

Another fun activity to watch is the a strawberry recipe and baked goods contest. You'll see some of the best looking strawberries in your life at this festival.

The entertainment stage will feature live gospel and country music throughout the day, so make sure you stop by to hear all the fabulous talent.

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the streets will be lined with classic cars, trucks and bikes for the Strawberry Festival Car Show. You can pay a small fee and participate or just enjoy the show.
