During hot summer days when you’re looking for something to do, a museum makes a perfect day trip destination. Science Museum Oklahoma not only offers nice, cool air conditioning, but it has plenty of interactive exhibits and displays that are fun and entertaining…and you might even learn a thing or two! Science Museum Oklahoma got a huge renovation in 2016, and if you haven't visited since then, you're in for a real treat. You'll find the museum at 2020 Remington Pl., Oklahoma City, OK 73111.
Exhibits include CurioCity, a 20,000-square-foot city with eight neighborhoods, and 17 other spaces that cover everything from an oceanarium to a huge aviation display with life-sized models of airplanes.
The museum is open seven days a week. Admission is $12.95 for kids ages 3-12, $15.95 for ages 13-adult, and $12.95 for seniors. If you plan to visit the museum several times this year, consider a membership.
