The next time you’re looking for fun activities the whole family will enjoy, head southeast to Beaver’s Bend Mining Company, an amusement playground that’s home to a two-story pirate ship, an old jail, dinosaur digging, and mining for gemstones, fossils, and artifacts. It has a mix of dinosaur and pirate-themed activities, and it’s loaded with fun. You pay per activity, so keep scrolling to see which ones you’ll want to try out.

Beaver's Bend Mining Company is not your average playground. It's more like a mini-theme park that has a variety of educational and imaginative activities for kids of all ages.

Here, you'll find a two-story pirate ship in Pirate's Cove - a pirate-themed playground where kids can pretend they're out at sea. They even play pirate music, so it's very realistic. All-day passes for this area are $9.99 or $4.99 if you buy tickets for other attractions.

You can also go mining for gemstones and let your imagination run wild.

They offer many pre-seeded bag options including the Mega Strike which includes gemstones, fossils, arrowheads, a huge amethyst, and a gigantic crystal point for $59.99. But don't worry, they also have options under $10, and you can share bags.

Kids also love to go to jail in the old jailhouse. They can have a photoshoot in jail and it's a fun memory to take home.

Or, journey through a nine-hole mini-golf course and look for lost treasure while trying to get the ball in the hole.

Dinosaur lovers, head over to Dino Dig, a small museum where kids can learn all about dinosaurs.

They can dig for dinosaur fossils and teeth and take pictures with their 12-foot interactive Raptor. Plus, they have a great educational video all about paleontologists and dinosaurs that captivates little (and big) minds.
