Throughout Oklahoma you can find fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers markets, produce stands or even on street corners. But you can’t get any fresher than picking your own food straight from the source. There are several U-Pick Farms that offer delicious fruits and vegetables with a fun and unique experience to go with it. Every farm/orchard has their own picking season and hours, so check with each one before venturing out to pick. Here are 10 farms and orchards where you can pick the freshest food in the Sooner state.

1. Thunderbird Berry Farm: Broken Arrow
Thunderbird is a family owned and operated farm where you can pick many of your own fruits and vegetables. You can find asparagus, cucumbers, strawberries, sweet corn, blueberries and blackberries. 2. Livesay Orchard: Porter
Porter, Oklahoma is the Official Peach capital of Oklahoma and you can find some of the best peaches in the state at Livesay. You can pick your own apples, peaches and pumpkins during the season. 3. Endicott Farms: Liberty-Mounds
If you love blackberries and blueberries, then make your way to Endicott Farms on Saturday mornings or Tuesday evenings during harvest season. Endicott Farms is a 30-acre farm with over 2-acres dedicated just to berries. You can also purchase locally-grown pecans at the farm. They are located at 13310 Adams Rd., Mounds, OK. 4. Wild Things Farm: Pocola

5. Vision Farms: Guthrie
Started as a farm to feed the hungry with good, quality food, Vision Farms has grown and added a U-Pick-It Garden just south of Guthrie. Peas, green beans, squash and okra are just a few of the foods that were planted in 2015. They are located at 109 S. Division St., Guthrie, OK. Phone Number: N/A
6. Maple Creek Berry Farm: Poteau

7. Wind Drift Orchards: Harrah

8. Buffalo Creek Berry Farm: Mustang

10. Gibson Gardens: Bixby
