This One Spot In Oklahoma Becomes Even More Magical During Christmastime
One of the most beautiful places in Oklahoma comes alive in a vibrant way during the Christmas season. The Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa is world-renowned for its paintings and museum grounds, but during the holidays they decorate the place in a magical way and it’s even more spectacular than usual. Check it out below:
Philbrook Museum of Art is located at 2727 South Rockford Road in Tulsa. Every year they host the Philbrook Festival and the 2017 dates are from November 17 - December 31.
The back gardens are illuminated with thousands of lights and it's completely magical. You can walk the whole area and enjoy the fresh air, while gazing upon all the decor.
There's even a gazebo at the bottom of the garden, just beyond the reflecting pond. The view back to the museum is magnificent as the gardens glow in every direction.
Before or after you explore the outside gardens, wander through the interior and enjoy beautiful decorations and special displays in the Rotunda and Mezzanine areas.
Visitors can enjoy an array of fun-filled, self-guided activities, live music performers, special displays, Christmas trees, paper snowflakes and more.
The museum also houses a restaurant and gift shop, so you can grab a bite to eat or pick up some last minute gifts for everyone on your list. Gather the family and celebrate this Christmas season in one of the most magical places in Oklahoma.
