Everyone loves getting ice cream, but there’s something special about visiting an old fashioned ice cream shop that puts a smile on your face. Kaiser’s Grateful Bean Café & Old Fashioned Soda Fountain in Oklahoma City will take you back to 1917 when life was simpler. Here you’ll find a fountain counter, homemade ice cream, vintage decor, a soda fountain and more. Take a look at this old fashioned ice cream shop you need to visit before summer’s over.
Kaiser's history began in 1910 at 7th and North Robinson in Oklahoma City. It operated for many decades and changed owners a few times, but it still serves its delicious homemade ice cream just the way it did in the early to mid-1900s.
After closing their doors for a period of time, they reopened again in 2016 at 1039 North Walker in Oklahoma City. They are housed in a one-story painted brick building with windows on the north and east sides.
They are bringing back old-fashioned service to Midtown OKC. Not only will you find a friendly staff in full character, but they also hire those looking for a second chance in life.
