There’s nothing better than an evening of music, food and community. The annual H & 8th Night Market is coming up soon, and you’ll want to put it on your calendar so you don’t miss it.
The H & 8th Night Market started in 2011 with just three food trucks and 200 or so attendees. Now, it's the largest food truck festival in the entire United States, with as many as 40,000 people joining in on the fun.
This year's festival will be held on Friday, June 1st. It starts at 6 PM, and the party continues until 11 PM. H & 8th Night Market is located at 815 N. Hudson Avenue in Oklahoma City.
Festival organizers encourage people to ride their bikes to the Night Market event. Not only does that cut down on annoying traffic, but riding your bike through the neighborhood helps you feel like you're really part of the community.
This festival is all about food and fun. You'll find just about every kind of food offered here, and the festival's organizers curate the trucks very carefully, with special preference given to local companies who offer healthy, locally-sourced cuisine.
Night Market is all about community. Join the party to mingle with friends, make new friends, and support local businesses and artists. It's an event that you definitely don't want to miss!
