Hike Multiple Bridges In Oklahoma At National Recreation Area

Chickasaw National Recreation is an Oklahoma oasis situated at the foothills of the Arbuckle Mountains in Sulphur. It’s the oldest national park area in the state and has been an outdoor haven for nature enthusiasts since the park first opened in 1902.

Throughout the park, you'll find fresh water and mineral springs running freely.

There are over 30 miles of hiking trails in the area, including trails for beginners which is great if you're bringing the little ones along.

The kids will love all the bridges that you'll cross over when you're hiking.

Lincoln Bridge is a Gothic-looking bridge that was built in the early 1900s. It connects Flower Park with the mineral springs south of Travertine Creek.

Inkana Bridge is another gorgeous bridge that you'll want to cross over. It serves as a link between the Chickasaw Cultural Center and the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. It is 195 feet long and crosses over Rock Creek.

You'll hike over many more bridges depending on which hiking trail you take. This Oklahoma adventure is not only great for nature lovers but bridge lovers will be fascinated by all the magnificent architecture of these beautiful bridges tucked away in southern Oklahoma.
