You’ll Absolutely Love A Ride On Oklahoma’s Majestic Mountain Train This Summer
There’s one summer excursion in the Sooner State you won’t want to miss – The Quartz Mountain Flyer Excursion Train Ride – in southwestern Oklahoma. This two-hour, narrated trip will take you through the stunning Quartz Mountains, around Lake Altus-Lugert, and along beautiful farmland. Here’s more details for this majestic mountain train ride:
The Quartz Mountain Flyer Train Ride starts at he Quartz Mountain parking lot at SH44 & SH44A in Lone Wolf, OK. Dates are selling out fast, so book your tickets for the next available ride on August 19, 2017.
The two-hour ride takes you from Quartz Mountain to Lone Wolf, where you'll stop for a snacks, before heading back to Quartz Mountain. Along the route, you'll see lakes, dam, mountains, farmland and more.
The train has an easy ramp for boarding and is an excursion the whole family will enjoy. The train boards at 9:30am., departs at 10:00am and arrives back to the station about 12:15pm.
The remaining 2017 dates are: August 19th, September 23rd, October 28th and November 18th. Call 580-846-6000 to book your tickets before they sell out.
