For some people, hiking is an easy sell – the very mention of ANY hike gets them excited. And then you have others (like me) that need some motivation….possibly a gorgeous view, a waterfall or an intriguing place to inspire them to lace up those hiking boots. Whether you’re ready to go or need that extra push to get out the door, we found a hike that just might be the most beautiful hike in all of the Sooner State. Take a look at this spectacular place:
The Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge is located near Lawton and is home to almost 60,000 acres. Believe me when I tell you...it is absolutely breathtaking!
The Dog Run Hollow Trail System and Elk Mountain Trail System have multiple trail heads starting at Lost Lake, French Lake, Dog Run Hollow, Boulder, French Lake and many more places.
