11 Telltale Signs That You Were Always Meant To Be An Oklahoman
Not everyone is fortunate enough to be born and raised here in the Sooner State. Many people move here at different stages in life and, even though they aren’t natives, it’s as if they were always meant to be here. Sure, we have our quirks and craziness, but we wouldn’t change it for anything. If you’re moving here and already feel like Oklahoma is home, here are 11 telltale signs you were always meant to be an Okie!

Oklahoma was only one of three states that voted completely red in the 2016 Presidential Election. On top of voting for Trump, you've said #makeamericagreatagain at least a dozen times.

Okay, so maybe not that extreme, but you are a conservative and believe Sunday is reserved for God.

Weather may actually excite you and you're the type of person that sits out back on the porch and watches a thunderstorm.

And you probably think cowboy boots are acceptable for any occasion (which they are in the Sooner State).

You believe nothing in life comes free and hard work pays off.

And you don't settle for second best.

You were raised to say please and thank you.

Our state is full of the most kind-hearted, friendly people you'll ever meet and you fit right into that category.

And see the beauty in every species.

Whether it's Friday Night Lights or Saturday afternoon of college football, you plan your life around the game.

The ocean has never been your thing...lakes make your heart go pitter-patter.
Which one of these do you relate to the most? What else would you add to this list? Share your comments!
