The highest point in Oklahoma – Black Mesa – is located in the town of Kenton in the far northwestern portion of the Panhandle. Kenton is located in Cimarron County in the far western tip of the Panhandle. It's the only community in the Sooner State that observes Mountain Time. But that's not the only thing that makes it special.

The trail includes 2 miles through mostly flat valley, 1 mile climbing to the top of the mesa, then another mile on top of the flat mesa area. And don't worry, the trails are clearly marked.
