This holiday season, be sure and visit the town of Guthrie for a magical experience. The town is decked out in lights and it looks straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie.
On December 4 you can participate in the home tours and the Victorian walk around town. During the tour, you will get an exclusive look inside some of Guthrie’s most distinctive homes and historic buildings, decorated for the holiday season.
The Victorian Walk is one of the most unique historical events. On December 4 and 11 guests are encouraged to dress up in Victorian attire and meet downtown to walk the area.
Many businesses will be open and will be selling food and drinks or gift items. There will even be pop-up vendors. Everyone is so friendly, just like in the Hallmark movies.
Businesses in the downtown district host scenes of Victorian life in their front windows—using live people in costume. The event is free to attend but tickets must be purchased for the home tours.
