A New Park Is Coming To Tulsa, Oklahoma…And We Can’t Wait
Overlooking the Arkansas River in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is nearly 100 acres of a soon-to-be park that is the perfect mixture of urban and nature. A Gathering Place For Tulsa will be a central spot in the city for people to gather and enjoy a peaceful setting, nature trails, concerts, biking and so much more. The park will not only be for Tulsans to enjoy, but will draw in people from around the state and country. A Gathering Place for Tulsa is the largest private gift to a public park in U.S. history. It is a project from the George Kaiser Family Foundation.
The Mist Mountain will be the perfect place to cool off in the summer heat. There will be a mist area, spray area, tunnels, streams and a water lab and plaza.
There will be plenty of wide open spaces at The Gathering Place. Lakeview Lawn will offer a beautiful landscape to enjoy the views of the river, connect to the trails or relax and watch a magical Oklahoma sunset.
The stunning Boathouse will feature an indoor restaurant, screened porch and observation deck, educational rooms and picturesque views of downtown Tulsa and the Arkansas River.
