Visiting Oklahoma’s Upcoming Balloon Festival In Poteau Is A Great Fall Activity

The Poteau Balloon Fest is a fun fall activity that you’ll want to attend in mid-October. It’s a two-day festival filled with hot air balloons, carnival rides, races, food, craft booths, and more. The backdrop of the event is the rolling hills of Poteau, filled with all the colors of autumn, and it’s quite spectacular.

The festival is hosted by the Poteau Chamber of Commerce, and more information can be found on their website. Or, the event has a Facebook page we recommend you follow. This event can have schedule changes based on the weather so you’ll want to stay informed.

Another fun activity to do in Poteau involves a drive. Read more about it in our previous article, “Take An Unforgettable Drive In Oklahoma To The Top Of The World’s Highest Hill.”
