After 30 years of running meat markets, and winning countless BBQ Grand championships, a father/son duo opened up an award-winning barbecue stand to bring their world-famous meat to you. The Butcher BBQ Stand is located just off the Turner Turnpike at 3402 West Hwy. 66 in Wellston, OK.
Just look for the truck and sign on Route 66...you can't miss it.
You can enjoy the mouthwatering bbq under the covered awning, outside on the lawn or on the tailgate tables under the sun.
Be prepared that you will most likely encounter a wait. The word is spreading that this is "the" place to go for bbq in the Sooner State.
Of course, the amazing food will be worth the wait. From burnt ends to brisket to pulled pork, you'll find all your favorites. And check out the cream cakes - the only dessert you'll find on the menu.
