Many abandoned barns, schools, houses, cars and bridges can be found all throughout Oklahoma. If left alone, nature will overtake them and dwindle them away. Heres a few of those places nature has reclaimed…
1.) This lonely barn is standing amongst the wheat field right outside of town in Alva, OK.
8.) This abandoned wall still stands in Hollister, OK as the only piece left of what was the old school district. The school was built in 1922 and closed in 1968.
Many thanks to all the great photographers that still care to go out and photograph what has been abandoned. These places all have a history to tell. Please share with us if you know the story behind any of these places in Oklahoma.
