7 Weird And Wacky Holiday Traditions You’ll Only Get If You’re From Ohio
Christmas time in Ohio is special. Whether you’re here every year for the season, or you simply find yourself back in town for the Christmas holiday to visit family, you know nothing beats a Christmas surrounded by the people you love in the state you (knowingly or unknowingly) love. The following are 7 holiday traditions nearly every Ohioan can relate to:
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

(If this isn't a holiday tradition in your family then it's a shame.)

We're so lucky to have this classic Christmas gem in our very own state. Find it at 3159 W. 11th St., Cleveland, OH 44109.

Medina is home to "America's Largest Indoor Christmas Entertainment Attraction," which is open year-round and features hour-long tours of all things Christmas. It is located at 260 S. Court St., Medina, OH 44256.

Chances are, the zoo near you is displaying Wild Lights until early January. Pictured is the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Wildlights.

(No Michigan fans allowed, of course.)
