Idle-Hour Ranch in Troy, Ohio offers visitors a truly unique experience with animals you wouldn’t really expect to find in Ohio. This family-run ranch in Troy offers an up-close and personal encounter with the animals. It takes the concept of a petting zoo to a whole other level.

Idle-Hour Ranch features more than 200 animals total of more than 40 different species, including kangaroos, otters, camels, farm animals and many more.

It is open only during the months of June - early November on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is $10 for children 3-12 and seniors 65+, $12 for adults 13+ and children 2 and under are free.

During the summer on select dates, you can even ride an camel! It's a truly unique experience you won't soon forget.
