Here in Ohio, the winter season can be downright fun—if you know where to look, anyway.

Cleveland Metroparks features a truly spectacular toboggan chute you need to experience this winter. The Chalet in Strongsville’s Mill Stream Run Reservation is home to the tallest and fastest ice chutes in Ohio. Bring the whole family or a group of friends for a truly memorable time everyone will love. Check it out:

The Chalet is a year-round recreation area that features all kinds of outdoor activities in addition to their beautiful hiking trails.

You'll find it at 16200 Valley Parkway, Strongsville, OH 44136.
The Toboggan Chutes are open until the first weekend in March, weather permitting. You can purchase one-day tickets or all-day passes.

All-day tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children ages 11 and under. You can also purchase a one-ride ticket for $6.
You'll plunge down a 700-ft. ice chute at speeds up to 50 mph. It's quite the rush—and you'll likely want to do it more than once.

Please note: All riders must be at least 42 inches tall to ride and children 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Right now, the chutes are operating in their holiday hours, meaning they're open every day from noon until 10 :30 p.m. (and until 5 p.m. on Saturdays.)

Please note: The chutes will be closed on December 18, 19 and 25 and January 2 - 3.
