And when you’re traveling out of state, there are some things that will always make you think of home—no matter where you are. Even after you’ve moved out of state, you’ll never forget where you came from whenever you encounter these 11 things:
In between Ohio's cities, amusement parks and other attractions is some of the best country road scenery you'll ever take in.
Ohio is full of some of the most beautiful covered bridges. In fact, it almost has the most covered bridges in the U.S. (Pennsylvania actually has the most, followed by Ohio.) Pictured is the Knowlton Covered Bridge, which stretches over the Little Muskingum River in Monroe County.

Sure, our seasons occur out of sequence and at any given time, but the three days out of the year we DO have fall are pure bliss. <3
No other state has a candy this delicious. Period.
We've got plenty of it here. And anytime you experience it anywhere else, it makes you think of your own home town and state.
Between Ohio Amish Country and back roads scattered throughout the state, this kind of scenery is the picture perfect definition of Ohio.
Joke about our massive amounts of corn all you want, but you know you get a little homesick when you're out of state and you see that heartwarming sight.

It's not ALL country here. Ohio has some really special cities. And no other cities in America are quite like Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati. <3
