The Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Scenic Byway, also known as the Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Trail, is the perfect way to take in the beauty of northern Ohio’s coast. This is one scenic drive you won’t want to pass up.

Stretching a total of 293 miles long, the Lake Erie Coastal Ohio Trail takes you from the big city of Toledo to the small town of Conneaut.

Much of the route follows U.S. Highway 50 and State Route 531.
Along this scenic drive, you'll pass through charming coastal towns, beaches, state parks and even vacation islands.
