When you visit Ohio, you don’t leave the same.
From the newfound appreciation you’ll develop to the Ohio Amish Country treats you won’t be able to resist, you will leave the Buckeye State with more than what you came with. There’s just no avoiding it. We’re a lovable state—and it’s not hard to see why. Here are 12 souvenirs visitors always end up taking home from Ohio:
1. Ohio State apparel of some kind
The only way you wouldn't leave with some sort of Ohio State apparel is if you were from the state that shall not be named. Otherwise, you will be converted and you will bleed scarlet and gray before you leave.
2. A buckeye necklace...
Because nearly all Buckeye fans are crafty.
3. ...and/or buckeye candy.

4. Something from Cedar Point
Chances are, if you're visiting the Buckeye State, you're going to pay a visit to the Roller Coaster Capital of the World.
5. A Wright Brothers model airplane
No matter what North Carolina claims, by the time you leave, you'll know this is truly where it all started.
6. Something from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The Birthplace of Rock and Roll is something every American should experience at least once.
7. Ohio Amish Country goodies and snacks galore...
Whether it's homemade bread, cheese, beef jerky, or any of the other mouthwatering foods the Amish population has perfected, you will not be able to resist.
8. ...and a craft or two.
FYI: The only way to avoid this one is to avoid all Amish Country shops.
9. Something to remember your visit to the A Christmas Story House.
Cleveland is the proud home of the A Christmas Story House, where you can tour the museum year-round.
10. Something that shows your newfound hatred of Michigan.
Again, you will be converted or leave. There is no in between.
