The Breathtaking Place In Ohio Where You Can See For Miles And Miles
How far would you climb to take in a truly breathtaking view of Ohio’s stunning foliage and landscape? Would you climb more than 100 ft. above the trees?
The Judith and Maynard H. Murch Canopy Walk at Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, Ohio features a 500 ft. long elevated walkway suspended 65 ft. above the forest floor. The canopy walk is an enchanting experience in itself, but there’s an observation tower on site that takes you up even further—so much further that you end up above the trees.

The canopy walk offers a truly unique experience to outdoor enthusiasts. It gives visitors a one-of-a-kind perspective of the forest and the animals that live among the trees.
On a clear day, you can even see all the way to Lake Erie, especially with a good camera or pair of binoculars. (Pictured are tall ships on the lake, sailing from Fairport Harbor past Mentor.)
