Sal & Al’s Diner Is Also An Ohio Pizzeria And Ice Cream Parlor That’s Worthy Of A Road Trip
What goes best with classic diner food? Some homemade ice cream? A fresh-baked pizza? Maybe even some pierogies? Here in Ohio, you can get all of those delicious foods (and more) in one very special place. Sal & Al’s Diner in Amherst is a one-of-a-kind restaurant that’s also home to a pizzeria and ice cream parlor. It’s definitely not your average diner.
What started as a legendary family-owned and operated Ohio business in the 1990s re-opened in 2011—and now the menu is better than ever.
The pizza oven makes some pretty irresistible pies, too. You'll find everything from the classic pepperoni pizza to more creative options, such as the Gyro Pizza (pictured).
