This Small Town In Ohio Is Peak Midwestern Vibes
We all know that Ohio is brimming with Midwestern charm. Situated in the heart of America, the Buckeye State is perhaps the essence of what makes this U.S. region so alluring. For proof of this, look no further than the town of Ashtabula. This destination is characterized by miles of shoreline, beautiful farmlands, covered bridges, and some of the friendliest folks you’ll ever meet. This charming, quintessentially Midwestern town is perfect for a day trip, but don’t be surprised if you find yourself wanting to pick up and move there!

The county is home to 19 covered bridges, including both the longest and shortest covered bridges in America.
