Known as the "Rubber Capital of the World," Akron is an Ohio city that's often dismissed as industrial and decidedly urban. But there's so much more to this Northeast Ohio town, especially in terms of natural beauty.
For instance, Akron is home to the Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens. Not only is its stately 65-room Tudor Revival Manor House a National Historic Landmark, but this Akron destination contains 70 acres of beautiful, landscaped grounds and footpaths.
