One of the best parts about living in Ohio is the opportunity to enjoy the influence of other cultures from around the globe. Indeed, it’s possible to feel as though you’ve traveled around the world without ever having to cross state lines. One prime example is a destination affectionally referred to as Ohio’s Little Switzerland. Can you guess where it is? It’s known as “The Gateway to Amish County,” having been established by Amish, Swiss, and German immigrants. It’s also home to the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock, along with Swiss-inspired architecture, cuisine, and more. Without further ado, here’s how you can spend a perfect weekend enjoying the town of Sugarcreek: the Little Switzerland of Ohio.
