There’s A Little-Known, Fascinating Train Park In Ohio And You’ll Want To Visit
Here in Ohio, we have all sorts of fun destinations for train enthusiasts to explore. (Be sure to check out our train-themed road trip here.) But there’s one little-known train park in Fostoria, Ohio you may not know about. The Fostoria Rail Park is a truly special place where you can watch trains pass anytime of day.

You'll find it at 499 S Poplar St. in Fostoria, Ohio.

With clear, unobstructed views of passing trains all around, there really isn't a bad view.

These railways included the Chesapeake and Ohio, the Baltimore and Ohio line, the Nickel Plate, the Atlantic and Lake Erie Road, The Tiffin, Fostoria and Eastern Electric Railway, The Toledo, Fostoria and Findlay and The Fostoria and Fremont.

The Fostoria Rail Preservation Society continues to preserve and update the historic park.

You can visit on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from noon - 2 p.m. until December 21.
