A paved bikeway, hiking trails, sand volleyball, bicycle rentals and picnic areas are also available. And horsepower boating and water skiing are permitted in the open zone area of the lake.
There are two public beach areas designated for swimming, Old Field Beach and Fox Island Beach.

With 1,400-foot of access to the lake, swimming is permitted during daylight hours only. (Please note: Pets are not allowed.)
