The Kendall Lake Loop Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park is one of the most scenic and easy-to-hike trails in the park. If you’re looking for a beautiful but not too challenging day hike, it’s the perfect place to explore.

A fairly popular but serene trail, the Kendall Lake Loop connects to the larger Salt Run Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Peninsula.

You'll find the trailhead near the lake shelter and bathhouse.
Along the way, you'll journey through emerald forests, open fields and scenic ledges. It's a 1.5-mile loop that's rated as easy on AllTrails.

Note: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
Although the terrain varies and there are some stairs to climb, the trek is fairly flat and not too challenging.
